Take-Two held its spring quarterly earnings call on Tuesday and revealed that sales of "GTA 5" increased by 5 million units this year as well. Take-Two reiterated that a new version of GTA 5 will be released on next-generation consoles, but of course did not mention a word about when GTA 6 will be released. However, the company did give a surprisingly detailed chart of what games it will be releasing over the next three years.
Take-Two broke its release calendar for fiscal years 2022, 2023, and 2024 into five categories, including "immersive core" and "midcore" games, mobile, indie games published by Private Division, and re-releases of existing games. In total, 62 games are expected to be released by March 2024, when fiscal year 2024 ends.
Only a few of those games have been announced yet, but Take-Two was kind enough to list details, including how many F2P games, "sports simulations," and "sports-oriented" games they are planning. From there, we filled in the gaps with expert predictions of what Take-Two is working on (but skipped the 20 mobile game plans). Let's all regroup in 2024 to celebrate the stunning accuracy of this article.
