Where does Henry Cavill find the time?" Our favorite PC gamer spent the quiet months of 2020 building a new gaming rig and painting Warhammer miniatures, but in the last few years he filmed two new seasons of The Witcher, Sherlock Holmes twice, and has been touring the talk shows to spread the word that Warhammer is separate from World of Warcraft. And now, as teased in DC's new superhero movie "Black Adam," Cavill has admitted that he will be back as Superman. One gets the feeling that there is some correlation between his rippling muscles and his outstanding time management skills.
"I wanted to make it official that I'm back as Superman," Cavill said in an Instagram post on Monday." What you saw in "Black Adam" is only a small taste of what's to come.
"Black Adam" star Dwayne Johnson has recently made it clear to everyone that he wants to fight Superman. It's a cliché to bring up this page from "All-Star Superman" to explain how recent DC movies have ruined the character of Superman, but that doesn't make it wrong. Cavill already has a perfect white-haired role in Geralt of Rivia.
With more major superhero movies on the horizon and hopefully more seasons of The Witcher, Cavill will certainly be busy. But hopefully between shoots, he'll have time to play Warhammer (has anyone told him that the "Immortal Empires" campaign for "Total War: Warhammer 3" has finally been released?) and upgrade his PC.
I mean, imagine Superman playing a game on anything less than an RTX 4090. I know he should be humble, but it just feels wrong.
