What are your thoughts on streaming television: the Netflix style, where all episodes are available in one go and you can watch the entire season in one sitting, or the traditional network style, where one episode a week airs for eight weeks?
If you're a binge-watcher and a Fallout fan, I have good news: Prime Video will be streaming every episode of Fallout in one fell swoop, and on April 11, you can sit back, relax, and enjoy the entire eight-episode season. If you can't wait, here's a new trailer to whet your appetite.
Personally, I can't decide how to release the show. It can even help a show (especially a slow-paced show) if you can watch several episodes at once instead of waiting a week between times. On the other hand, the traditional once-a-week format is also nice. It makes each episode feel more like an event, and it's fun to read fan theories while waiting a week.
Amazon's strategy also seems to be rather fickle: the first season of the superhero satire show "The Boys" was released all at once, while the next three seasons were released weekly (all but the first three episodes were released on the first day). The first season of the muscle-bound detective show "Reacher" was released all at once, but the second season was changed to a weekly broadcast. On the other hand, "Rings of Power" was a weekly show from the beginning.
