There's nothing better than a free demo of a polished proof-of-concept made by a passionate game developer. I'm here to tell you that Namco Bandai has released three demos on Steam completely free to play right now, one about a little chaos dog, one about a little robot, and one about riding the boomerang trail.
Of course, start with the chaos Pomeranian. In "Dronko Wanko," you are a tiny little adorable Pomeranian. You choose to use this power for violence, challenging your owner to inflict as much material damage to his home as quickly as possible. Dronko Wanko can be found on Steam.
In Boomeroad, you explore ancient ruins in the sky by throwing boomerangs and sliding along the rails they create. Boomeroad is available on Steam.
Last but not least is Nottolot, a game in which you play as a little robot named Rolly, hacking other robots to solve puzzles and escape from a robot production factory. A little slow-paced, but with simple and cute puzzles, Nottolot can be found on Steam.
These games were developed at Namco Bandai, but are published by a Japanese group called Phoenixx. Its mission is to inspire and nurture the human spirit, one creator, one game, one community at a time.
