Watching this explosive 5-minute video of Crysis Remastered is a great reminder of how much PC games need Crysis4

Avoiding gunfire, my invisible cloak flickers, I grab an enemy soldier by the neck, and taking advantage of the incredible strength of my nano suit, I throw him on the roof of a building, flying wood beams and metal panels.

It was a cool AF, but I don't have time to admire my useful work (get it.As a giant racket caused by a collapsed structure warned a soldier's friend, one of them fires a flare to call for reinforcements. He died quickly and shot me in the head with my scarred rifle, but so is the gunner on the patrol boat approaching from across the bay.

Turning to the military jeep that just arrived, I activate the armor mode of the Nano suit, raid the vehicle from the front, and the suit absorbs a lot of damage. Just as the shield of the suit collapses, I take the cover behind the rock and then, after a second pause to recharge the shield, I take out both the soldier and the gunner of the vehicle unloaded with a headshot. Then I commandeer the jeep and start attacking the enemy camp, rattling the camp.Wild abandonment and 50-caliber cannons.

This is me having a great time playing Crysis remastered, and the carnage-filled gameplay video can be seen in full below.

I've been on a huge Crysis kick recently, playing a second game for a reinstall feature (coming soon. Not only in the original game, both in the original format on period exact hardware, but also in the Crysis remastered format on my modern rig, real-time ray tracing and various other modern graphical bells and whistles are also turned on.

And while I haven't played Crysis3 yet, a few things really stood out during these play sessions. First, Crytek delivered here some damn good FPS games, shooters with explosive action and super cool set pieces.

In fact, looking back this year after the dust settled on the original Crysis trilogy, I take a look at the line PC Gamer's Crysis review (winning 98% in the US PC Gamer magazine), Crysis2review, and Crysis3review as far as to say it is undervalued in terms of PC game history...How many series can boast three games with such a strong review score, and that says nothing about the reputed Crysis warhead.

But I say it's underestimated not only in terms of the experience the game has provided, but also in terms of their now-slightly forgotten impact on the PC gaming industry. When the home console market was on the rise, Xbox360 was the most popular gaming platform on the planet, and Crysis was a pc gamer, and the console could be managed visually, too

I don't know about you, but the Crysis series was the one true PC game I bought a lot of new PC gaming hardware. Having been burning the fire of gaming faith for more than half a decade, I wanted to be able to experience these great games as their maker, Crytek, intended. And I'm sure it was the case for millions of PC gamers around the world, too.

I think the original Crysis was so huge that it coined the whole, but it could run Crysis memes that endure to this day since the last game in the series was released, the impact of the graphics Crysis was so huge, thanks to smorgasbord's "Ultra Upgrade" delivery of Crysis2's DirectX11 extension.

These games raised the bar for all games, setting benchmarks for other developers to track. Without the Crysis series, for example, there would have been such a spectacular visual product in the Metro series shooter. Or a graphical test bed and showcase it's Cyberpunk 2077' no chance. Crysis reminded PC gamers why they played the game on a PC that is in a new first taste, experiencing the best version of any game. It also allowed developers to get a higher level of fidelity and quality in their games.

Well, in 2024, the PC port from the console will be a mixed bag at best, the exclusives will disappear, the cost of gaming hardware will rise to a terrifying new level, and Cyberpunk2077, the latest poster child for PC gaming, will be the first PC game to see its engine migrated and discontinued. The game needs a new technology leader to sell its hardware and reaffirm why PCs are the place to play.

In my mind, I can't see a better advocate for PC gaming in the next 4 years than the visually jaw-dropping, game-changing Crysis. We know the new Crysis game is coming, the project announced a few years ago, so just imagine the new Crysis adventure, but the fidelity unreal Engine5 tray I want to live in a world that can be said without irony, but can you run Crysis4?"
