Sometimes, size really matters. Although you can absolutely have a great experience with a small display when it comes to game monitors, the big screen is right in action you We have found two of our favorite big screen game displays at a discount, although they're very different form factors, both of which will make you feel better.

Let's get things started with the Asus ROG Swift PG949UQ, which is currently available on Amazon forAmazon42. In terms of aspect ratio, this is a conventional 16:9 display, but everything else, including its size, is supercharged. That is, the color is very vivid, and the black level is as dark as possible. It also features an OC'd refresh rate of 138Hz, so the same panel found in the 1Hz LG OLED C2, one of the other top OLED gaming displays,

However, LG is a TV, but reviews show that the PG42UQ is a much more appropriate game monitor. It was a great experience. It has a 0.1ms (2ms GTG) response time, G-Sync support, and a matte finish that may not visually "pop" the image in exactly the same way as the larger LG, but it's much better to reject reflections.  With a brightness rating of 750nits in HDR mode, you also get excellent HDR processing.

When it comes to connectivity, we've got almost everything. Displayport1.4, 2 HDMI2.1 connections, 2 HDMI2.0, 4 USB3.2Type-A, 1 USB3.2 upstream, and 3.5mm audiojack. This is definitely a game monitor more than a TV, but you can absolutely make it a central display for all media viewing

and I mentioned it's a huge '42 inch, although we would say it is available for a 16:9 desktop monitor. It is about the above, but oh it is not only OLED, so burn-in is always a potential concern.

So, if you're looking for something bigger, without those warnings, perhaps even super wide.

Currently available at available1,699.99 on Amazon, the Samsung Odyssey Neo G9 is what we call "stupid Wide" and our most for the best ultrawide in the Best monitor guide, which is essentially a 2K 4K 32-inch screen welded so it won't be scary until you see seamless results. It sounds like a nice idea. This means that even the omnipotent RTX4090 needs some upscaling help to push at very high frame rates. But it really is this, well, wide ultra wide

how about a game running on one side, with a YouTube bit of background on the other ' or have room for them all, as its 57-inch screen size and huge width create the possibility that other monitors can only dream of. Track multiple productivity windows across the display.

Whatever you use it, the Neo G9 will look pretty fantastic. It has a Displayhdr2, 392 certification with full array local dimming and a typical rating of 350nit minimum and 420NIT SDR content in 1000 zones, but Jeremy in his review seemed to have a lot more punch than the regular 400nit panel. And when it comes to HDR, he thought it was far beyond the brightness of 1,000 nits. If anyone knows, it's Jeremy.

The pixel density is also excellent, with a crisp clear font throughout the display, and the productivity window looks pin-sharp wherever you put it.

Disadvantages "Well, if you hadn't noticed, it's really, really wide." It means neck craning and it also means a big amount of desk space to put it on. Also, it's not an OLED panel like the Asus above, so don't expect a super pitch black.

That said, it's like a distinctive, impressive display that doesn't surprise anyone looking at it.

So, go there. Both two large monitors, at a price much lower than their MSRP. Which one to choose depends largely on the use case and the room (and cash) you can afford, but in this case you are ready to offer a huge amount of visual real estate in a smaller amount than expected.
