Sony accidentally leaks the whole of Destiny 2's latest expansion, and its game streaming service allows players to access the final shape days before launch.

The Hotly Anticipated expansion of Destiny2 The final form has suffered a huge leak just days before launch, after Ps5 players were accidentally granted access to the entire expansion through Sony's game streaming service.

In what appears to be a Sony oversight, Destiny2: The Final shape had been preloaded on Sony's servers to access the streaming service prior to the start of the expansion. However, when preloaded, the extension will remain public and players will be able to access it early. Players who accessed the expansion were given a new Guardian Rank 1 account and required to play the game's tutorials. However, they were able to access inventory, maps and other menu pages, providing information about the items and other details of the extension.

The leak occurred early this morning and the entire expansion is reportedly replayable for about 5 hours. However, it seems that the player who jumped in is not getting too close to the final form before the access is revoked. The details of the campaign leaked so far are only relevant to some of the initial missions, but it is possible that some users get more information and simply do not share the information online.

Nevertheless, a huge amount of information about expansion is spreading across the Internet. We won't go into details, but the leak contains details about weapons, armor, exotic, cosmetics, Raid Loot, season passes, and some of the first campaign missions. This also included information on many destinations, raids and seasonal items in the above categories. In other words, almost all of the short stories and campaign spoilers are now publicly available.

Bungie addressed the leak in a simple thread on Twitter, warning Destiny2 players to "be very careful on social media for the next few days to avoid spoilers.""

"Please be considerate of others and report leaks so that players can experience the conclusion of the story of light and darkness for themselves," the studio tweeted. "A lot of experience will be shared before the intended date with all the community members who have already helped us by reporting the leak,

"It's always very difficult when the hard work of our team is leaked early, but we still want everyone to get a full 6/4 together." Experience the release"

Bungie it lead Alan Thomas had a slightly pointed response to the leak.

Such a massive leak should be a major blow to the studio. It's worth noting that Sony bought Bungie 2 years ago forと3.7 billion, but the relationship between the two companies doesn't seem to thrive at the time. After Destiny 2's figure fell 45 percent last year, Bungee was forced to lay off in May, and morals hit the studio as reports of a potential full takeover by Sony began to spread. Next, PlayStation Chairman Hiroki Togi visited the studio and said that he felt there was "room for improvement from a business perspective" in concrete terms, such as "utilization of business expenses" and "accountability of development schedule."

Whatever the state of the relationship between the two companies, Sony's leaking of bungie's entire expansion online could not do much to improve it. The final shape isn't just an old expansion, it's the most important thing bungie has done over the years, and its release marks Destiny's 10th anniversary as a series. On all accounts, it also looks decent, especially after the disappointing Lightfall extension. "I expect Bungie to have cooked something memorable for the final form. It certainly looks a lot intriguing," Phil writes in his assessment of the expansion's new strike mission.

As for Sony, the company has recently crashed into a pile of figurative manure with surprising frequency. Last week, it pulled an interview with Naughty Dog's Neil Druckmann from its own website because of the "serious errors and inaccuracies" in the article, but earlier this month it sparked a massive revolt in the Helldivers2 community by trying to revive PlayStation Network integration for PC players. All this and the large of the games that make it big goofs while Microsoft closes multiple studios because it did not have administrative staff to oversee them
