The cult of lamb is to make friends, but it may be due to forming a cult full of forest creatures, but it makes it healthy I have a great little team with members who will die for me with every heartbeat, but it can still be lonely at the top. So I'm pretty excited about the prospect of sharing power with the Unholy Alliance. 

The Cult of the Lamb: Unholy Alliance is another free update due to be released on 8/12 — its main attraction is that according to the local co-op, a new playable capress release for goats, this fluffy little guy will let you and friends "play with existing mini-games like fishing and knucklebone." This means that you can "enjoy the new 2-person twist" and can join you for the entire main campaign. 

You can also pick up a range of damaged weapons, tarot cards, curses and relics. If you still want to play on your own, that's fine, as this update also has new powers and abilities tied in — don't worry, no one is going to force you to give up full control of your cult. 

A short teaser trailer for the update also shows all the fun you can have with friends, as well as some of the benefits of fighting together The video starts with lambs who are very difficult to fight rival cults, and after they dive into the shelter, the goats are sent to help finish the job. It appears out of nowhere. 

The fight doesn't look as flashy as the short one in this animation, but it should feel different from a solo quarrel. "Lambs and goats can swap weapons, deal extra damage when fighting back-to-back, or give a critical hit if the attacks are in sync," the press release states. It's not a massive issue for me, but I'd like to think this will encourage me and my mates to think of some cool combos, because only playing with one weapon can repeat a few fights a bit, but honestly, I don't think we'll get that far. 

The Cult of Lamb has been on a bit of a winning streak lately, with the last few updates being all really fun and also free. Sins of The Flesh was released on May 11 last year and added a lot of new mini-games, tailors to make new clothes and even sex, but that only happened thanks to a few dedicated Twitter followers. And before all that, there was a relic of an old faith that added a new post-game storyline, heavy attacks, forms for your followers to evolve and more. Many games use them as a way to give fans more content and get players to try out the game. Recently, Eric "ConcernedApe" Barone released an impressive 1.6 update for stardew Valley at no extra cost. But no matter how unique it is, it's still great to see the beloved game add new content for its fans without any monetary incentive.
