Elden Ring", a major update that adds new inventory features and hairstyles along with the "Shadow of Eldtree" expansion content.

With less than a week to go until the release of the highly anticipated Eldenring expansion "Shadow of the Erdree," From Software has announced a major new content update for the base game that includes bug fixes, balance changes, numerous new features, and details on when the expansion will unlock. The company also released a detailed breakdown of when the expansion will be unlocked.

Details of the update are not being disclosed at this time, but changes will be made to the inventory, newly acquired items will be marked with a "! mark on newly acquired items and a new tab for recently acquired items. Summoning pools have also been improved: active summoner pools will be carried over to New Game+, and individual summoner pools can be enabled/disabled in the new Map Functions menu.

And at your (or someone else's, I guess) request, no less than 5 new hairstyles are coming to the game. Because even if they don't work, they should at least look good.

From Software also released a detailed breakdown of the global release date for Shadow of the Eldest Trees. It all depends on time zone and platform: if you're in North America, "Elden Ring: Shadow of the Eldestree" will be released on June 20, but if you're in Europe, Asia, or Australia, it's June 21.

Complicating matters further, the console releases are not simultaneous worldwide, but at midnight in each regional time zone.

For example, in the Eastern time zone, the PC version will be released on June 20 at 6 p.m., while the console version will be released six hours later, at 12 a.m. on June 21.

In Australia, on the other hand, the console version will be released on June 21 at 12:00 AM, but the PC version will be released eight hours later. This doesn't mean much to me, but it's nice to at least have a map.

In case you missed it, From Software also recently released the system requirements for Shadow of the Eldest Trees, but the good news is that the minimum specs are unchanged from the base game. As long as you keep your mog on ice, but many of you probably haven't yet. That guy is not going to open the door for you.
