No longer filled with the organs of legendary warriors and repressed matriarchal mystics, this little pot-boy is destined to drink a belly full of Joe.

Variations on the warrior pot theme are probably the single most common form of Etsy's most common Eldenring knickknack. Given this, Movic's mug is in a sense genius, a practical Elden goodie rather than just a shelf candy. True to the game, this mug looks great, with its hands crossed in a stern fashion.

Pre-ordering in the fall for about $27, by the time it ships, we may all have forgotten the terrible new legend about the potboy in Shadow of the Eldest Trees. Yes, we've known for some time that the contents of the pots were corpses, but it turns out that the primitive origins of the warrior pots were tools of extermination against peaceful people called shamans. The prototype of the potentate was a torturer who cut up shamans for the purpose of stuffing them into jars, "I remember Jah Bean was cute and invited me to be his potentate (ruler).

But I'm good at compartmentalizing, so I don't think I care about that. It just means that I might be tempted to buy some of Movik's other Elden merchandise. The Alexander piggy bank is a great product, and I like that Movik has turned the Elden ring amulet into a pin badge. Volume 1 has 100% of the cute and goofy selections, including the Companion Jar, Long Tail Cat, and Green Turtle. Volume 2 is a bit more "serious," with pins like Godfrey Icon and Dragon Crest Great Shield.
