This problem was one of those wardles that seemed to go nowhere for me until suddenly the answer appeared out of thin air. I want to thank the first two strange green letters I found. They made me think outside the usual box, and without them I don't think I would have been able to deduce what I did today.
This is another word for a proverb or saying. I suppose "blood is thicker than water" is one of them.
Yes, there is a double letter in today's puzzle.

There's no need to rush, as it's not a race against time. In fact, it's not a bad idea to treat this game like a casual newspaper crossword and come back to it later when you're blank. Sometimes it helps to step away for a while so you can come back with a fresh perspective.
Watch out for July; the answer to the July 1 (1108) wordle is ADAGE.

Here are the answers to the recent Wordle:
Each day you will be presented with 5 boxes in 6 columns, find the 5-letter words hidden in them and win the daily puzzle.
Start with strong words like ALIVE or words that have a good mix of common consonants and multiple vowels. Words that begin with repeated letters should also be avoided to avoid wasting chances to identify or delete extra letters. Type in your guess and press Enter to see which letters are correct or incorrect. If the box goes to ⬛️, it means that the character is not in the secret word at all. A 🟨 means the character is in the word but not in its position. 🟩 means that the correct letter is in the correct position.
The second guess should complement the first guess, using another "good" word to cover a common letter that may have been missed in the first line. After that, it is just a matter of using what you have learned to narrow down the correct word. In all, you can try six times, and only actual words can be used. Remember that letters can also be repeated (e.g. BOOKS).

Wordle was originally conceived by software engineer Josh Wardle as a surprise for his partner, who loved word games. From there it spread to his family and was finally released to the public. Since then, the word puzzle game has spawned a slew of Wordle-like games, focusing the daily gimmicks on music, math, and geography, and it wasn't long before Wordle became so popular that it was sold to the New York Times for a seven-figure sum. Indeed, it would only be a matter of time before we would be communicating solely through tricolored boxes.
