Helldivers 2 allows players to fight all kinds of giant alien bugs. There are scuttling bugs, flying bugs, armor bugs, vomit bugs, and, as of the controversial Escalation of Freedom update, giant betentacled impaling bugs. One Helldiver 2 player, however, encountered a rare species of terminid that Helldiver had never seen before.

That HellDiver is the (wonderfully named) FortyFourTomatoes, who posted a video on Reddit of himself fighting off a swarm of Terminids while waiting to escape from a mission. The “Twist” Terminids are all bouncing around as if they were standing on individual trampolines.

Titled “This is the most ridiculous bug I've ever witnessed,” the glitch is one of the most impressive glitches I've seen in Arrowhead's cooperative shooter. Every terminid on screen bounces 30 feet in the air and is affected equally, regardless of its size or simulated mass. Hunters, Spewers, Warriors, and Chargers. at the 23-second mark, an impaler leaps from the ground and soars gracefully into the sky with its tentacles hanging down like broken wings.
