Alba Monument Valley developer Ustwo Games' new, out-of-season game, Alba: A Wildlife Adventure, will take birdwatching to the Mediterranean next month.

Little is known so far about Alba's upcoming winter vacation, which was announced earlier this summer, except for the idea of a young girl getting caught up in an animal rescue adventure during a trip to visit her grandmother.

In today's new trailer, Ustwo pulls out a tour brochure to fill us in on our vacation activities. Upon arriving at the island, it appears that the island is littered with trash and in a state of neglect. It is up to you, your father, and your best friend to rebuild this island.

There is no need to rush. The island of Aruba, a self-proclaimed "chilllectathon" (pardon the pun), just looks like a calm place to poke and prod. It seems like every time you turn a new corner there is a new road to repair, people to chat with, or tangled dolphins to rescue.

It is the last one that really grabbed me. Aruba has a whole ecosystem of animals. There is a catalog of creatures at hand, with items to help narrow down your search as you search for the elusive eagle or lynx. Crossing the landscape to fill a scrapbook, this will be a key element of the game.

Also, while it sounds like Bugsnax, there is no fast food body horror.

This is Ustwo's second PC title, following the similar Mediterranean-style deconstruction 'em-up "Assemble With Care" released earlier this year; Alba: A Wildlife Adventure will be available on Steam this December 11.
