Several players have since shared similar images, but the major difference is the expected cost: some ask players if they are willing to pay $14/month (as above), while others ask about $16/month or $19/month. This fee would give players access to a battle pass (currently paying just under $10 every 3 months), a monthly outfit with alternative styles, "back bling," pickaxes, and 1000 V-bucks per month.
It is worth emphasizing that companies conduct surveys to determine if it is a good idea. However, the online response from those who would post on "Fortnite" forums and Twitter has so far been surprisingly positive, with only a few grumbles pointing out that it could cost more than $200 per year.
I've been in and out of Fortnite. I've purchased the Battle Pass a few times and always thought it was well worth it if I could devote the time. A subscription for Battle Royale seems like a much bigger ask, especially in an era when everyone already has dozens of subscriptions to various types of entertainment. But if you only play "Fortnite," it might make sense to charge regularly for cosmetics and currency you've never seen before.
