It's a big day for Mass Effect fans. Electronic Arts and BioWare are set to release a remastered version of the "Mass Effect" trilogy (Mass Effect: Legendary Edition). But they also have a little surprise in store, announcing that an all-new "Mass Effect" is also currently in development.
"A team of veterans is hard at work envisioning the next chapter in the Mass Effect universe," said BioWare General Manager Casey Hudson, "We're in the early stages of the project and can't say much more yet, but we look forward to sharing our vision of where we're going next I look forward to sharing our vision of where we are going next. [For me personally, "Mass Effect" represents years of work and countless special memories, and I feel incredibly fortunate to be able to celebrate N7 Day each year with players around the world. Thank you so much for your support of us over the years. We can't wait to continue our adventures together, revisit our favorite memories in the world of Mass Effect, and create entirely new ones!"
