Marvel's "Blade" has officially arrived in Fortnite. Yes, the daywalker vampire-human hybrid that ushered in the modern era of Marvel films before the MCU was even born is now the skin of Fortnite. Let's take a look.
Blade is also styled in his original black trench coat. The attention to detail is truly amazing, with Blade's upper arm armor, shiny belt buckle, and red sunglasses.
There are two ways to purchase Blade's skin and related cosmetics: for 2,000 V-bucks you get the default and jacket skin styles, plus interchangeable back decorations and a Daywalker sword as a harvesting tool.
There is also a "Blade Bundle" that gets all of the above plus the Dayflier glider (like an edgier Batman invention) and the Daywalker's Kata emote.
The Blade Bundle is only 2,300 V-bucks with the sale Epic is having as of this writing. Normally this bundle costs 4,000 V-bucks.
There is also a 300 V-buck bundle for those who want the Dayflier glider and Daywalker Kata.
Blade is sure to be one of the most popular skins in Fortnite this season, even with the small number of Marvel characters already available on the Season 4 Battle Pass. Marvel announced at the 2019 Comic-Con that noted actor Mahershala Ali ("Luke Cage," "House of Cards," "True Detective," "Moonlight") will play Blade in the upcoming MCU film. He apparently replaces actor Wesley Snipes, who played the role admirably in two well-received films and one travesty. At least Ryan Reynolds still got the job.
Don't forget there are plenty of other Fortnite guides and news to follow. If you want to get your hands on a hero skin, be sure to finish the Wolverine Challenge.
