Prior to the October 28 announcement, AMD released the first images of its upcoming Radeon RX 6000 series of GPUs. As the image above shows, this GPU has the alias "Big Navi" for a reason.

As is becoming increasingly common, AMD is wielding Fortnite as a promotional tool for Big Navi. At the very least, the GPU model can be identified by the code "Fortnite Creative Island-8651-9841-1639."

AMD announced earlier this week the dates for a major keynote on the Radeon RX 6000 series, where it will talk about "deep cooperation with game developers and ecosystem partners," among other things. The company also plans to showcase its forthcoming Zen 3 Ryzen desktop CPUs in October.
