While it is a pleasure to see the "Halo" series come to the PC throughout 2020 with "Halo: The Master Chief Collection," the excitement is capped off with the imminent release of "Halo 3" on the PC. In addition to being its debut, this will be the first time fans will be able to experience "Halo 3" at higher resolutions and frame rates.

343 launched Halo 2 for PC with the goal of pushing updates during off-peak hours. This was done so that the servers would not be overburdened by everyone participating in multiplayer at the same time. This time slot reflects a similar strategy, albeit at a more convenient time for the US.
