Space Heaven is a promising management sim about interstellar vagabonds.

Released about a week ago, "Space Heaven" is a new base-building management game set on a spaceship. Beginning with the destruction of the Earth (a staple), a civilian crew embarks on a journey to find a new home for humanity using borrowed technology and loaner ship platforms, clearly influenced by "RimWorld," "FTL," and "Oxygen Not Included," although it is fresh The Early Access version of the game was just released on May 21, and of the 1,000 early reviews on Steam, 87% were positive.

There is a fair amount to do in the launch build of Space Haven, but there is no long-term progress beyond getting the ship up and running, fighting off pirates, and building larger ships. There is also a tile-based gas system, Oxygen Not Included, for those who, like me, like to balance pressure and output. I spent a few hours with this game and was quite satisfied, at least enough to keep coming back. The three-person team working on the game intends to add a mode where you play as a space station, robots and androids, cybernetic augmentation, and space hazards such as solar flares. They also have a fairly extensive feature set on the roadmap, but are not guaranteeing that they will be implemented in any particular order.

Also, I'm quite fond of art in motion.

Space Haven is available on Steam for $23 or you can check it out on the Bugbyte games website.
