Darkborn, formerly known as Project Wight and before that as Archenemy, is no more; The Outsiders released the first gameplay trailer for this first-person monster game a year ago, but it hasn't worked since. It has now been effectively cancelled.

"Despite our best efforts to continue, we ultimately had to make the difficult decision to discontinue development of the project," the studio announced. 'We all hope so, and we sincerely appreciate the support of everyone who has followed us over the years.'

Outsiders is currently working on something else, but what that is remains to be seen. Hopefully some of the "Dark Bone" will be carried over into the new project. The monster would have started out kind of cute, and as it devoured the Vikings, it would have grown bigger and more ferocious. That's what they wanted.
