The Epic Games Store continues its weekly distribution of free games. This week, Fullbright's first-person house action Gone Home and Runic Games' action-adventure Hob are free. Also not to be missed are Drawful 2, currently free on Steam, and the new multiplayer physics game Totally Reliable Delivery Service.
Gone Home is a first-person exploration game in which you play as a young woman who returns to find her family home empty. As you explore the house, the drama surrounding each family member is revealed. The story is intimate and thoughtful, and Logan describes it as "a uniquely challenging game" with 85% of reviews.
If you want something a little more upbeat, "Hob" is a puzzle platformer in which you play as a mute protagonist with a giant left arm. Although clumsy in some ways as a platformer, Andy gave it a high rating of 77%, probably because of its lively worldview.
Gone Home, Hob, and Drawful 2 will all be available for free download until April 9 at 8 a.m. ET (4 p.m. PT); just sign in to your Epic account. Next week, Sherlock Holmes Crimes and Punishment is a free item in the Epic store.
