Remember Biomutant? It's an RPG about mutant trash pandas who know kung fu; when it was announced in 2017, it was supposed to be released in 2019. But that didn't happen, and we haven't even heard a squeak from developer Experiment 101 until today.

Unfortunately, from the messages from developer Experiment 101, we have no idea when Biomutant will be released. But well, at least the game has not been cancelled. Says the developer, "We are confident that everyone at the studio will be ready for the day and will reveal the release date as soon as the game is ready."

Experiment 101 attributes this silence to focus and hard work. Aside from the unpredictability of game development, the reason "Biomutant" is taking longer than originally thought is because of its "enormity, size, and length." I see.

Considering that the game features a somersaulting cat, it should be well worth the wait. While you can tweak the appearance of your furry character, the more central part of the game is tinkering with his genes to gain wild physical and supernatural abilities.

[8] "Biomutants" is being made by the same people who created the "Just Cause" series, so expect lots of clever physics-based action, especially in combat.
