Do you have questions about Half-Life, like Alyx, and when a proper release date would be? If so, join us for an AMA with the development team on Reddit tomorrow at 9am PT (12pm CST).
The presence of the word "some" is hard to miss, but even so, reactions on the Half-Life subreddit where the AMA will take place are veering wildly between excitement and surprise at Valve's apparent newfound openness. redditor DaftVortigaunt wrote, "If you told me a year ago that Valve would suddenly start communicating openly with its fanbase, I wouldn't have believed you. I'm looking forward to it!"
Or, as santumerino put it more succinctly, "What, Valve is communicating?"
It is unclear who from Valve will attend the AMA, but the moderators are clearly expecting trouble: they warned that the AMA will focus on Half-Life: Alyx, and they asked all attendees to "Half-Life 3 and requested that they refrain from making jokes about it."
We will be keeping an eye on the AMA. Also, just to let you know, Valve has announced that the entire Half-Life Collection (Half-Life, Half-Life 2, HL2: Half-Life, Half-Life 2, HL2: Episodes 1, HL2: Episodes 2), the entire Half-Life collections are available to play for free until the release of Half-Life: Alyx.
