Paul Haddad, the voice actor best known for his role as Leon Kennedy in 1998's Resident Evil 2, has died. Invader Studios, which worked with him on the classic survival horror tribute "Daymare: 1998," confirmed his death on Twitter, saying, "Our dear friend and icon of the RE community, Paul Haddad, passed away recently. We are truly honored to have met and worked with such a great person and a wonderful professional as he was."
In addition to his video game roles, Haddad had a long career as a television voice actor, appearing in "Babar," "The Adventures of Tintin," "Rupert," and the 1990s X-Men cartoons, voicing Quicksilver.
Nick Apostolides, who voiced Leon Kennedy in "Resident Evil 2 Remake" last year, recorded the following video as a tribute to Haddad.
