For those who want to shoot people this weekend but don't want to actually commit murder, go to jail, or spend money, Ubisoft is offering an alternative in the form of a free weekend of the multinational assassin game Rainbow Six Siege. from March 5-8, all full game, including maps and modes, will be available for free on all platforms.
Siege's free campaign is available on Steam, Epic, and Uplay and can be preloaded starting today, so you can jump into the action as soon as it starts. There will also be a sale of up to 75% off, depending on the version.
The video above is a few years old now, so it's a bit dated in terms of specifics, but it covers the basics of the game well. (This is probably why Ubisoft keeps using it every time they start a free weekend.) For something a little more up-to-date, be sure to check out our coverage of "Rainbow Six Siege" Year 5 (yes, it's been around that long already) and its first season, Operation Void Edge.
